Prevent Over-Pressure Caused by Outgassing of a Product

Filtered storage bag vents prevent over-pressure caused by outgassing of a product during & after processing.  Many products evolve gasses & vapors as a result of their manufacture & processing. Typical applications include protecting storage bags that contain milk powder, fruit juices & food aggregates.

Filtered storage bag vents can be directly mounted into gas tap flanges or can be bulkhead mounted with an adapter flange. They are fully automatic & do not require maintenance. They are manufactured with FDA approved & certified materials for use & contact with food products & can be sterilized for re-use.

Protect Containers from Standard Air Cargo Pressure Changes

Rapid decompression, or explosive decompression, is becoming a more common requirement for airborne military packages. With a flow rate of up to 140 SCFM (Standard Cubic Feet per Minute), the TA790 Two-Way High Flow Valve will provide rapid decompression pressure relief for containers up to 50 ft³. It can also protect containers up to 1,100 ft³ from standard air cargo pressure changes.

Airborne transport of large volume containers, even without a rapid decompression requirement, need to move large volumes of air to keep from exploding or imploding due to atmospheric pressure changes with altitude. The TA790 Valve will automatically move large amounts of air in short periods of time to protect these large containers.

Purge or Pressurize Containers with Filler Valves

AGM’s Filler Valves are used to purge or pressurize containers. An air chuck is required to actuate the valve. Simply supply a safety wire to secure the cap. AN/MS mounting hardware is supplied with the filler valve.

Combination Breather Valve & Humidity Indicator

The TA340-R Combination Breather Valve & Humidity Indicator has separate air paths for the breather valve & humidity indicator. When fitted with an optional desiccant cartridge, the humidity indicator senses the humidity of the air in the container, not the air in the desiccant.

The TA340-R is intended for use on smaller containers (up to a maximum of 25 ft3) due to the maximum flow rate of 3.0 scfm at 1.5 psid above the reseal point. The valve is lightweight, rugged, tamper-proof & requires no field maintenance. Corrosion-resistant materials are used throughout.

A manual-release push button is standard on all TA340-R Valves. This is used to equalize residual pressure or vacuum differentials in order to make opening the container easier & safer. The TA340-R was designed to fit into the 658800 mounting flange for ease of desiccant replacement.
